This comprehensive two-day seminar has something for everyone, from the beginner to the advanced coder. Most coding specialties will be covered in the concurrent sessions.
To kick off the meeting, join ASC Association staff for an update on the new Medicare payment system changes for 2009. This session, with new information on how your ASC will be paid, will provide a punt straight into our general session and cover everything an ASC needs to make it succeed. With coverage of new codes, looking at ICD-10 and a new technology session on finding the rules of the game your ASC will surely be ready for the season.
Following the general sessions, the meeting will split into two tracks, beginner/ intermediate and advanced. No draft necessary and you can switch between the session levels as you wish. Using the popular case study approach, attendees will work with real operative notes in each coding session to maximize their coding skills. Basic coding will cover more anatomy and an overview of the specialty and advanced will delve into intricate and hard-to-code cases and allow for extra hands-on exercises. This seminar is not just for coding professionals, business office managers, billing staff, nurses and administrators, who want to make a positive impact on the coding and billing processes, will benefit from these sessions.
