Quality Reporting

ASCs will be required to report quality measures to Medicare as of January 1, 2009 with the risk of not receiving full payment updates in 2010 and beyond for failure to report. A final rule on indicators to report will be issued by Medicare in 2008.

ASC Association's Outcomes Monitoring Project will help ASCs prepare for this reporting.
