Debbie currently provides healthcare consulting services to ASCs focusing on developing and maintaining comprehensive Infection Control and Quality programs. She assists facilities with survey readiness for CMS and accreditation agencies. Prior to consulting, she was a VP of Operations for a management company overseeing the operations and development of ASCs and surgical hospitals. She has worked in the ASC industry in California since 1993, beginning as an Administrator of a surgery center. Debbie served on the Board of the California Ambulatory Surgery Association for 15 years; including Past President. She continues to assist in developing Infection Control Seminars for many ambulatory surgery center organizations for over 12 years.

Lisa has over 30 years of experience in the ASC industry and has been doing infection prevention for over 25 years. She has developed programs to train new infection preventionists and is certified in sterile processing and holds the CAIP certification.

Lisa has worked in every area of the surgery center including circulating, scrubbing, safety officer, infection preventionist, business office manager, administrator and corporate clinical leader. In a previous role, Lisa was the epidemiologist for her county Health Department. In her current role, Lisa is Senior Director of Clinical Education & Training for SCA Health. In this role, she develops onboarding and training programs for the clinical staff at the corporate enterprise level. Lisa is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Lisa has a BSN from the University of Cincinnati and a MSN and MEd from Xavier University.

Carolanne has worked directly with ASCs to strengthen their infection prevention and control programs in policy and practice for the past decade with AMSURG and now with Regent Surgical Health. She worked with the BASC Committee in creating the CAIP exam and maintains her own CAIP certification. Carolanne has also been a surveyor for AAAHC for the past 13 years helping ASCs have more robust infection prevention programs.

As an Infection Preventionist for ~ 35 years and board certified in Infection Prevention and Control since 1990, she has assisted in the development of environmental hygiene policies and procedures for cleaning and disinfecting.

She has worked closely with in-house and 3rd party contractors to assess and improve practices utilizing TJC standards and CMS regulations, EPA, the FDA and CDC.

Carol has facilitated process improvement initiatives in the selection of soaps, antiseptics and disinfectants, Validation of cleaning, selection of cleaning tools and assisted in the development of measures to improve the cleaning and disinfecting process in healthcare organizations.

Until the spring, over the past 5 years her role was Senior Clinical Advisor, Infection Prevention, for a well recognized disinfectant manufacturer. She has presented on a variety of topics related to cleaning and disinfecting at local, state and national conferences.

Laurie has been in the ASC industry for over 25 years, serving 20 in leadership roles. Her certifications include Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR), Certified Registered Nurse First Assist (CRNFA(E)), Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC), as well as Certified Ambulatory Infection Preventionist (CAIP). She is also a Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC). Prior to relocating to Cape Cod Massachusetts, she served as an executive board member and secretary for the New Hampshire ASC Association.

Laurie has provided clinical and administrative leadership for both large and small multi-specialty ASCs. She currently is a deemed-status surveyor for AAAHC, sits on the education committee for ASCA, is the Director of Clinical Services and an Infection Prevention Consultant for a national ASC regulatory compliance company, provides legal nurse consultant expertise and is a proud mother and grandmother of amazing young women.

Tammeria, a.k.a.Tammy, is the infection preventionist at Southeastern Spine Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center. She is also currently the Joint and Spine coach for the center as well as the quality and HR manager. Prior to becoming a nurse she worked with corporate accounting and HR. She has worked over 30 years in a variety of settings-both hospital and in ambulatory care. She is currently a member of the BASC board for ASCA and was a contributor in the development of the CAIP. She is board certified in infection prevention with a CIC designation as 2013 and renewed in 2018. She was very proud to add the CAIP to her credentials in 2018 as well.
